It will be the only place to find the exclusive Ruggiero Palmieri collection of housewares, ceramics and fine art. We, the Italian-American Palmieri brothers, started venturing throughout Italy at an early age. The more we traveled the more our passion for the every day pleasures of the Italian lifestyle, the “dolce vita,” grew. We soon realized that the key components that make life so incredibly enjoyable for Italians are found not just in the large cultural centers of Venice, Rome and Florence, but in every town in every region of Italy-from the snow covered Alps to the sun drenched island of Sicily.

Each time upon our arrival in the U.S., our family and friends marveled at the wide variety of unique, hand made gifts we had discovered on the enchanting back roads throughout Italy. Soon, word of these beautiful treasures (and hence, our hallmark BelTesoro) spread to acquaintances and friends of friends. They practically begged us to bring back more of these wonderful products representing the local art and culture of all Italy. First, as favors, we did our best to accommodate everyone by contacting artisans to obtain additional products. Soon the demand became so overwhelming that we had no alternative but to have their treasures shipped into the U.S in larger quantities, marking the birth of Ruggiero Palmieri, LLC and its storefront BelTesoro.

The spontaneous growth of our company as a family business follows solidly the Italian tradition. In fact, the vast majority of Italy’s large industrial and fashion companies, as well as small shops, are family owned and operated. The many artisans, whose work we bring to you, follow in the footsteps of several generations of family craftsmen. As a result the items found throughout the pages of BelTesoro are the result of a long tradition of fine Italian workmanship.
